UCLA brand colors
UCLA is unusually direct about the asymmetry between its two colors. The guidelines state that blue has always mattered more than gold, and give the reason in one line: a field of blue with a gold accent says UCLA, and a field of gold with a blue accent does not. The tertiary palette is restricted to graphics rather than text, because those six were chosen for vibrancy instead of contrast.
